In most cases, no. Ballet is a self-custody wallet provider and does not keep backup copies of the private key components for sold wallet cards, including the private key entropy or passphrase entropy. These two entropies are stored only on the physical wallet card.
For Ballet Cold Storage products, the required wallet private key components are needed to access or move funds. Both the private key entropy and passphrase entropy are required to derive the private key. If either required component is missing, destroyed, unreadable, or no longer available to the wallet owner, there may be no technical recovery path.
The following information is not enough for Ballet to recover or transfer funds for you:
- Wallet address
- Serial number
- Order information
- Identity documents
- A screenshot showing the wallet in the Ballet Crypto app
- A "verified" status in the app
- Private key entropy without the required passphrase entropy
- Passphrase entropy without the required private key entropy
The Ballet Crypto app can display wallet information and balances, but it does not store a backup of the private key information that allows Ballet to move funds or restore missing wallet security components. The app only reads sensitive wallet information temporarily when needed and does not keep a retrievable backup.
